There are a total of 6 basic cube notations for the 2x2 as well as the 3x3 rubix cube. They are:

Up (U)
Down (D)
Right (R)
Left(L)
Front(F)
Back(B)

Cube notations for the 3x3!!

➡️Same moves counter-clockwised also have the same notations with an additional prime/appostrophy (') symbol.

➡️Same moves rotated 2 times also have the same notations with an additional symbol of 2 in front of the letter.
